Contango Fund Management Company is an asset management company focusing on commodity markets. The company was founded in 2006 and is the first asset management company in Scandinavia to focus only on commodity-related investment products and services. Contango is part of a Scandinavian wealth management group Taaleritehdas Ltd. Contango's three different business areas include commodity funds, commodity asset management and corporate risk advisory services.

Contango manages Contango Commodity Beta Fund (non-UCITS), an actively managed absolute return commodity fund. Contango Commodity Beta Fund's objective is to provide high risk-adjusted returns independent of equity and bond market price movements. Contango Commodity Beta Fund's goal is to enhance returns by active portfolio management in every market situation and generate returns by utilizing seasonalities and long-term price cycles using both short-term trend and longer term value-based commodity strategies. Large commodity price declines can be hedged by lowering the net investment ratio of the fund up to 0 %. Our asset management services cover managed accounts, customized commodity investment products with different return and risk characteristics and commodity-linked structured products with capital guarantee. Corporate risk advisory services include desing of commodity risk management strategy, hedging strategy implementation and reporting services according to client requirements.
